Happy St. Patrick's Day

We had a great St. Patrick's day. Matt started out the day interviewing for the middle school close to our house for an 8th grade science position and decided to take it! It is a big move after being at Ilima for 7 1/2 years. He is looking forward to his new job and they are lucky to have him:). It is kind of sad to think we have both moved on from the school we met at.

Later in the afternoon we took Abby to the zoo. We saw a few animals and visited the petting zoo. Abby really liked the monkeys and giraffes (and so did we). The rest of the animals seemed to be asleep or MIA.

After the zoo, we headed to the block party at Aloha Tower. We got there early enough to cruise around with Abby in the stroller. We got some fish n chips and a corn beef cabbage sandwhich both St. Paddy day musts.

Abby definitely the part of the little Irish girl with her curly locks and green dress. We stayed for a few hours and made it out just as the crowds were pouring in.

This is a great picture of Abby's scrunch face that she has been making a lot lately...She is such a monster, but an adorable one! She loved all the people watching and the excitement

Abby & Gavin

We got to have Gavin over the other night and the kids were so cute together. Gavin was very sweet with Abby and shared all his toys. Abby followed him around and did whatever he did.

Here are some pictures of them a year ago. Amazing how much changes in a year!

Matt's 30th Birthday Weekend

Matt turned 30 this Saturday..finally! The jokes about me being in my thirties already were getting old:). Matt and I started the weekend off with another fabulous Furlough Friday. We saw Green Zone and played mini golf. We tied...I didn't want to beat him on his birthday.

Saturday we had the crew over for a very nice celebration and just an overall fun night. We are so lucky to have wonderful friends and always enjoy our gatherings.

On Sunday we got up and took Abby to the water park. Since we got season passes it is really nice to be able to just head over for an hour or two. Abby had so much fun going down the slides and splashing around in the water.
Heidi and Mike watched Abby Sunday night and Matt and I went into Waikiki to dinner at the Oceanarium for all you can eat crab legs, which are Matt's favorite. We took a stroll after dinner to walk off some of our meal and headed home after a fun but long weekend.

Sunday Funday

We got up early on Sunday and headed to KoOlina for breakfast and a walk around the lagoons. We got a great video of Abby giggling at breakfast. The sound seriously melts my heart.

Abby got to run around in the grass while I chased her and she also played on the playground with Matt at the hotel. She loved going down the slide.

8 Months

Today we are officially 1 month away from Zack's due date! We put the double stroller together this weekend and it is huge. I can't imagine how I am going to push that thing around.

Beach Day at Pokai Bay

Abby loves the sand and apparently has no problem being covered in it all day. This is a video of her playing around in the sand and water.
