Around the house...

Aunt Mary and Uncle Charles came to visit.  It has been really fun to get to see family more often now that we are in a spot that is a little easier to get to!

Enjoying the live music at the Bernardo Winery after the trains.

The kids getting their faces painted at the EBS Halloween carnival.

We had a sad tree that lost all its leaves and became a stick.  Thankfully, the ids and Matt took it down:).

Pumpkin Patch

We met up with the Archards for a day at the pumpkin patch to kick off the fall season a few weeks ago.  The kids are so cute together and we had such a nice day!  After the corn maze, train ride and browsing pumpkins we had a nice picnic and even got to see some pig races.

My little loves!

Can't believe Kenna was Abby's age when I met her and now she is driving!

Spooktacular at SeaWorld

The Halloween festivities are beginning and the kids could not be happier!  Abby told me recently that I was born on the nest day ever because you get so much candy.  Obviously you can see where her priorities are.  The kids got to wart heir costumes and Zack has already to asked to wear it again basically every day.

The first stop at Seaworld was to take mommy on the Atlantis ride that we didn't get to go on last time since it broke while we were in line.  Abby was so excited and held my hand because I was "nervous".

I snapped this before the ride took off and then Abby scolded me for having my phone out...sigh!

She ended up taking every variation of the family member old enough to ride and going on Atlantis about 5 times.  I went twice and was thankful I only got a few drips on me (don't worry it eventually caught up with me!)

There were so many other things to do that we didn't see many of the animal attractions except the flamingos that were getting fed as we walked by.  We ended up visiting more of the spots that are super crowded in the summer that we usually skip.  We didn't even see Shamu...gasp!

Matt and Abby convinced me to go on Raging Rapids with them - Thankfully Zack is such a trooper and takes it in stride when he isn't big enough for the rides.  G, G and Zack went to the tide pools and we basically went on a lazy river fully clothed....I'll skip that next time!

I ended getting drenched on the ride while Matt and Abby were barely touched.  Luckily it was a hot day and I dried 4 hours later...

A highlight was meeting Ariel's "sister" since Ariel has RED hair.  Abby is very excited to get red hair for Halloween!

While Mat and ABby rode a ride, Zack and I played and saw Shamu. Check out those muscles!  The kids also got to trick or treat.  After the first few stops we ignored the others.  Too early for the candy:)

A few more pictures of the turtles and tide pools..

Go Padres!

I had been itching to get to another game before the end of the season and there was a "Kid Fest" day in the park, so it was a perfect opportunity to head to the "old ball game".  We got to watch a good bit of the game while the kids play in the sand and run around.  The Padres lost but it was a fun afternoon anyway.
