Byodo-In Temple and Ice Cream Too

We hadn't planned on too many outings with the Martins but the Valley of the temples or Byodo-In Temple was high on the priority list.  It is so beautiful and serene- at least it was until we showed up!  We tried to explain the whole zen thing to the kiddos but they weren't buying it.  Instead, banging the gong, climbing up and down crazy paths, and keeping us on the edge of our toes every time they were near water topped the priority list of our favorite 1 & 3 year old.  It was a very fun afternoon and since Bill and I both love the camera we have lots of fun pictures to share!

Dongggggggg!!!

Just one more time???

too much fun!

The fish are crazy!

Grandpa and Abby

Grandma & Grandpa

I love this picture..both walking with the munchkins in the same shot
After a fun morning at the temple we headed to Dole for lunch, a train ride and of course, pineapple ice cream.

An iphoto picture of our tourist trap photo:).  As expected, the only picture of us all!

Abby and Grandma:)

Cruisin!

We had been in the market for bike seat and saw someone with the front seat and thought it looked so much better than the back seat but couldn't find it anywhere.  Finally, we found one and Matt's parents got it for Abby's birthday. Both kids love it and it is really easy to ride over and pick Abby up from preschool.  I love to ride her home and chat about her day at school!
You can also see the ginoromous Disney hotel behind Matt and Abby in the top right picture:)

Sealife Park

Before G & G Martin arrived we headed over to Sealife Park for the day but I took a blogging break to enjoy the Martin family- sorry to keep you waiting mom:).  It was a pretty windy day but we didn't let that stop us.  I love the drive over and it is always fun to get out and explore!
Checking out the aquarium
We attempted a sea lion show but it started late and Z. got a bit antsy...

Feeding the turtles

Cheeeese!

Cheese, again.

Zack's turn.  he sat in this whale swing thing for about 15 minutes:)

Check out the broccoli in his hand.  He held it for at least an hour!

Getting a better view?

Still has the broccoli:)

Random iPhone Pictures

I was looking back through my iPhone and I have a bunch of random not in order pictures from life over the last month or so...

Finishing "Cars" today after we watched the first part last night.  It was 2 hours long.  Really, way too long for a kid move!  Zack makes sure that when watch a movie he gets his blanket, the furniture gets moved and everyone snuggles.

The boys lounging.  Too cute!

We caught the train at Pearl Ridge
Woo Hoo!

Bubble activities at the Marriott hotel.  Perks of living next to a resort where they plan activities for kids on vacation.

The kids' new favorite game these days is take all the pillows off the couch and make a mess, I mean fort.

More daycare fun!  I love getting these pictures throughout the day.

The "secret" lagoon

My new favorite spot is a lagoon that isn't attached to any of the hotels.  It has the best view of the sunset and fun tide pools.  It is referred to as the "secret" lagoon but really is no secret at all.  Any time we went during sunset in December it was filled with families trying to get their Christmas card photos:).  I only wish I would have been so smart before I picked the ONLY day where there was NO colors in the sky at all.  Anyway, we had a picnic one night and I brought my camera but nobody in the family (except me) was really up for a photo shoot so I just took lots of random pics...pretty much same as always:).

Best buddies!

Abby and Zack have had lots of fun time with the Buelow boys lately.

Uncle Mark had Zack and Dylan today since their Auntie Sofia (daycare) took off for her birthday.  The boys went to run errands and apparently LOVED Costco (but really, who doesn't!?).  Handsome little guys:).

Some fun in the sun over the weekend

The dads sure know how to have fun!  Squirt gun fights ( for the kids enjoyment, of course) and "surfing".

Snack time after a full day at the beach and naps:)

Not sure how much longer I can throw all 4 of them in the tub but for now they love it.

More snacks...surprise!
Movie night while Buelows were enjoying a data night.
