SeaWorld

As you may be able to tell, I am trying to catch up on documenting life so I have some timeline to refer back to.  The fact that there is an Easter an Christmas post back to back should give you an idea of how things are going around here these days.

So, continuing with random posts, we went to SeaWorld back in January.  It was tons of fun but the fact that is was nearly free made it way better.  Teachers get a fun pass that is valid all year for FREE and kids under five get a pass for FREE so basically Grandpa was the only one who had to pay for 6 year passes.  Not too bad!

First stop was visiting Shamu...or whatever his name is these days.

The manta rays were super cool.  We fed them and they were unexpectedly friendly.  Matt and I even rode the Manta roller coster (twice because it was so cool) while the kids visited with the mantas and G & G.

Watching the Shamu show (out of the splash zone to Abby's dismay).

A big hit was the rides an playground area.  There was virtually no wait for anything.  It turns out that a beautiful day in January is a great time to go!

Tidepools and so much more... a great way to spend the day in SoCal.

  1. Hey Katie,

Seems like you had a great time at SeaWorld! I was trying to find your contact info and did not see it anywhere here. Could you please send me an e-mail?
