At the and of the Martins wonderful visit, my parents came home from Honduras and we were able to meet up for dinner on Friday night after Abby's rehearsal in OB where we all stayed when we got married 7 years ago.

The boys

Before Abby's rehearsal we met up for lunch with everyone and Mike and Damon.  We also celebrate Mike and Grandpa Martin's birthdays!

After, we went to Mike and Damon's house to explore the garden.  Another beautiful picture opportunity.

Our Little Ballerina

Abby started dance around March after she began to show some interest in it... likely due to her 3 best friends in school all dancing and talking about it.  I didn't know where her friends danced but it ended up being the same place we chose, Scripps Dance Centre.  They do 2 shows a year- Christmas and summer.  Son after she started dane they started preparing for the show.

We had a dress rehearsal on Friday afternoon and then 2 shows the following day...more for the big girls but all the excitement was pretty fun!

Abby getting ready for the real show.  There were about 200 doting parents and relatives in the audience cheering and screaming for their little girls.  There were about 20 dances numbers but we only stayed for the first 5.

ABby had quite a crowd: Grandma and Grandpa Martin, Grandma Lori and Grandpa Don, Uncles Mike and Damon and Mommy, Daddy and Zack cheering her on.  She was really happy to get flowers and showered with love.

After we all said our congrats and were walking out, Abby walked up to me and told me that Zack old her she looked beautiful!  Keep it up Z- it never gets old!  He was so proud of her and did great in the theater watching the dances.

Such a fun day to see her dance.  She had a blast which was even better!

Her school and ballet friends

The whole class

The second show was at 7 and so everyone else stayed home and I took Abby.  We didn't buy tickers for the second dhow so we watched from back stage.  it was really fun to see it behind the scenes.  The nst was Abby running off the stage and giving me a huge hug!

Here is the link to the whole performance... it is too cute!

Water Fun

We started the day off with our first swim lessons of the summer at Floaties.

Later, we headed up to the Wave waterpark for a day of water park madness.  Abby is officially 42 inches and can ride a lot more rides in a variety of parks, Zackis quite tall enough for yet but he has handled it like a champ.  He enjoyed playing in the water zone and we spent some quality time in teh lazy river...my favorite!

I wasn't able to get pics of Abby but is quite the thrill seeker these days.  She was tall enough for the big slides and was so excited to take mom and dad down them.  It is so much fun to see how much she enjoys rides and experience them with her.

Safari Park and then some

We had a wonderful day exploring the Safari Park.  We started by feeding the ducks...

And then the lorikeets.

We took some time to eat and play at the playground.

Grandma and Grandpa took the kids up in a hot air balloon.  The kids are obsessed with hot air balloons and loved going up in one.  We were happy to have an alternative that was a tad more realistic than the hot air balloons they see hovering in the sky at sunset.

The view from up high.

Happy as can be!

Safari tram..nice photo bomb, Matt!

We did some more exploring.

And since we were all so good, we got to stop at Orfila for some wine tasting on the way home.  The kids loved the open spaces to run around and explore and we loved the wines and chairs to sit in.

Love this impromptu and gorgeous family photo!!!!

The monkeys in their own worlds.

I went to the bathroom and when I came back Matt showed me these amazing pics he snapped of the kids.  My new favorites!!!

Since we were so close to Cordiano's and everyone was still content we headed out for pizza too:).  It was such a  fun day and afternoon.
