I had no idea where we were going to have Zack's 1st birthday but when we moved into our new place the pool seemed like a perfect idea...and it was!
We had a small gathering of our friends and luckily, my family was able to join us! I don't think I would have been able to do it without them. It was so helpful to have extra hands and eyes to watch the kids while we attempted to keep everything else running. It is also so fun to see them socialize with our friends that they have come to know over the years.
We had a wonderful day celebrating Zack and Grandpa Don and the weather cooperated thankfully!
Our little Z is the first of the 2010 babies to turn 1. Here he is with is homies (minus Joseph who has become a Texan and will visit soon). Stay tuned for a photo shoot!

The big kids had fun too! They have really gotten much more comfortable in the water...2 weeks ago they didn't want to get their heads wet now they are asking to be launched into the water.
