Getting Ready for Christmas

We have had a few opportunities to meet Santa but luckily, Auntie Casey is one of his helpers and was able to personally introduce us.  We drove up to The Grove in LA where Santa's workshop is and had a great afternoon.  We walked around the outdoor mall, window shopped and Casey set everything up perfectly.  We got the royal treatment from parking to pictures and zero waiting!  I even got a complimentary MAC makeover while the kids had complimentary cupcakes.  Looks like we picked the perfect day to visit.

I love this picture.  They were so happy after meeting  Santa and hanging out with their awesome Auntie!

Buddy, our elf, found his way to San Diego after Thanksgiving.  He is coming up with some pretty creative spots to watch the kids (he must be on Pinterest!).  The kids love him and look forward to his crazy antics.

We got the tree bought and set up and in G & G's house and then moved it to our new house last week.
A park nearby had a nice winter festival and they made snow and had rides for the kids.  They got to see Santa and even more exciting get a candy cane.

Th ekids were able to sled downthe hil, throw and few snow balls and keep warm in teh 70 degree weather.  This is how I like to enjoy snow (unless I am on a mountain with a board and a cabin to got to).

The kids wanted to write letters to Santa.  Abby has maintained that she wants princess books and marshmallows and she has convinced Zack that he wants shark books and marshmallows.
I think Santa can handle those requests:).

We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas early in SD and then spending the holidays in Pennsylvania!!!
