I posted everything surrounding Halloween but I forgot about the actual day! The kids couldn't wear their costumes to school but they had parties and dressed in their PJs and Halloween attire.
The
neighbor had a big cul-de-sac party and all the families gathered around
5 to enjoy the potluck before the kids went out trick-or treating. The mad scientist got dry ice to make spooky drinks for all the kiddos, which was a major hit.

We hopped in the car and went to the "new" house
neighborhood to trick-or-treat because there is about 50 houses on a
flat, double cul-de-sac and lots of decorated houses that made it a
perfect place to go with 2 little ones AND we had just found out that
our offer was accepted and we were really excited to get a sneak peak of
the neighborhood in action. It
turned out to be perfect! We opted to forgo the stroller this year
and the kids walked from house to house for over an hour and had a
blast! We came home with too much candy but I hid it and they forgot
about it...too bad I didn't!
