Back in the "old" days Matt and I used to walk from his house in Hale'iwa to the Coffee Gallery and have our morning coffee, bagels and read the paper. We decided to get up early last weekend and have breakfast at our old stomping ground. Although it was not a relaxing, read the paper kind of morning, it felt so nice to be back up in the North Shore. I love that place!

After we filed out bellies,the journey continues to Pipeline for a beach day The kids enjoyed seeing all the surfers on the big waves and found some fun rocks to play on right in front of the Volcom house so we got to people watch while the kids played on the rocks
We hit up teh shrimp truck for lunch and topped off the day with a trip to Dole for some pineapple ice cream. Yum!
