The day after Christmas we headed up to Big Bear with the Potter family to stay in their cabin. The weather was in the 60s so there wasn't much snow (which I was more than happy about) but enough to have many snow ball fights for the kids.
We attempted to find a place to go sledding...as you can see the conditions were not optimal since the there was not enough snow to cover the rocks and sticks. The kids had a few runs before we called it quits.

We all went to Bear Mountain the next day. The kids took a ski lesson and both did great. Matt and I snowboarded with Garret and Trevor and got to watch the kids in t ski school from the mountain.
Abby really wanted to go on the chair lift so Matt took her up on a run and they both made it down in one piece:).
Lots of hot chocolate.
After a fun day in the snow the kids relaxed in the indoor jacuzzi.
We spent the last day at a manufactured sledding hill that was a lots of fun!
