The anticipation of the day has been so fun and only increases as the kids get older. Buddy the elf became an integral part of the family over the month of December and the kids miss him dearly. He is a very funny elf! The kids got up around 7- this day was already awesome because we did not wake up at 5 am like many years past. The kids opened their many presents and played with mist for about a second:).
After cleaning up the kids rode their bikes to the park up the street. It is literally UP the street so it was a pretty big deal to make it there let alone on their bikes:). Once we got there the kids rode around and played on the playground.

After a fun day enjoying the lovely weather we went to Grandpa Don and Grandma Lori's for dinner. Grandpa read the Christmas Story, played some baseball with the kids and their new gloves, and we had a lovely dinner!
Like mother like daughter! Seriously, we end up dressing alike more often than not:).
