My dad got us tickets to see the Padres play the Dodgers at the end of July and it was a blast as always!
There is always a great energy downtown in general but when there is a game it is definitely a different kind of buzz. I love seeing everyone dressed in their Padres gear but there were probably more Dodgers fans at this game. I guess I can't blame them- who wouldn't want to come visit San Diego:).

We had great seats close to the field to see the outfielders up close but also close to all the park where all the activities for the kids were.
Cotton Candy.. of course! One of my all time favorites at a ball game.
Kids Fest...
After all the activities we sat in the beach area. The kids happily played it the sand and we watched the rest of the game.
We were on our way to dinner after the game and we stopped along the way to watch Team USA in the World Cup. Although in the end it is was not the best day to be a Padres or USA fan, it was fun cheering both teams on.
After checking out every TV we could on the way to dinner, we made it to the Melting Pot...cheese fondue...Yummy!
